La Vista de la ciudad despues el Barrio de Albacin

La Alambra with Islamic Influence
La ciudad antigua
Through the ESN (Erasmus Student Network), I was able to see one of most beautiful and historical cities in Andalucia, the southern part of Spain. Granada was one of the city highly influence by the Islamic culture which is prominent in attractions like el Barrio de Albacin, La Alambra, even in the modern parts of the city. This was very interesting for me, because there were multitudes of ethnic shops and restaurants other than your usual tapas bars in Spain. I loved seeing how the culture of Granada was molded with both a Spanish and Islamic influence. Furthermore, I want to advise to all incoming walking tourists that the landscape of the walkways to get to from one place to another are very uneven, so make sure to wear good comfortable and impermeable(in case of rain) shoes when touring the city or going to see historical landmark.
